About Arggelys “Helly” Gomez

Hi! If you made it here, I’m assuming you want to know a bit more about me so here we are. My name is Arggelys (Arr-heh-lis), but people who know me call me Helly. Hence, the name of this site. I first got into photography back in 2016. At the time, photography served the purpose of finding inner balance within myself and out of the hecticness that was my life that year. Photography also served as a motivation towards a passion that I have had since as far back as I could remember: travel. Through both, I have cultivated a passion for varying cultures, people, places and things. Aditionally, I have worked for companies such as Tilebar.com and ChameleonConcepts.com as means of bringing their company visions to life through product photography. Currently, I’m a k-9 English teacher in NYC and take on freelance photography projects as often as I can.
